Course Overview
The Parkway Salon is an excellent opportunity for cosmetology students to apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. By working on clients from the community, students can gain hands-on experience and develop their creativity and customer service skills.

Through their training at the Parkway Salon, students will learn how to use a range of cosmetology tools and equipment, as well as techniques for hair cutting, styling, coloring, permanent waving, relaxing, manicuring, pedicuring, and skin care. They will also receive training in professionalism and customer relations, which are critical skills for success in the industry.

After completing 1,250 hours of training, students will be eligible to test for their Pennsylvania State Cosmetologist License, which is a requirement for practicing as a cosmetologist in the state. The Parkway Salon is an excellent opportunity for aspiring cosmetologists to gain the skills, experience, and licensing needed to pursue a career in this exciting and rewarding field.
