2026 CTE Signing Day
Parkway West Career & Technology Center proudly celebrated six senior students who were recognized at the 2026 Southwestern Pennsylvania Career Signing Day at PNC Park. This prestigious event recognized graduating seniors who are committed to careers, apprenticeships, military service, and postsecondary institutions across high-demand industries. Hosed in partnership with the Pirates, the event highlighted the value of Career and Technical Education while showcasing the talent, professionalism, and workforce readiness of Parkway West students. Career Signing Day reinforced Parkway West CTC’s mission of preparing students for successful futures and strengthening Southwestern Pennsylvania’s workforce through hands-on education and industry partnerships.
Parkway West CTC was proud to welcome Rep. Valerie Gaydos, Sen. Devlin Robinson, representatives from Coterra Energy, and David Holt, President of the Consumer Energy Alliance, for a special visit highlighting the growth of our Welding Technology Program through a nearly $1,000,000 donation from Coterra Energy over two years.

2025 Fall Festival
Parkway West CTC celebrated its 2025 Fall Festival with a day full of fun, games, and excitement. Students and staff enjoyed a variety of seasonal activities, friendly competitions, and prizes throughout the event. The festival brought the school community together, creating a lively and festive atmosphere to kick off the fall season.

Veterinary Anatomage
Exciting news for our Veterinary Assistant Technology program! Thanks to a generous grant, we’ve just added a brand-new Anatomage Table to our classroom!
This advanced 3D anatomy visualization system is a game-changer for our students, allowing them to explore animal anatomy in a highly interactive, lifelike way.
According to research, using virtual dissection tools like the Anatomage Table improves knowledge retention and enhances students' understanding of complex anatomical structures — giving our future vet assistants a real edge in the field!
PST Stryker Stretcher
Exciting News from Our Public Safety Program!
We're thrilled to announce that our Public Safety Technology program has secured a grant, which has been put to exceptional use by acquiring the Stryker Power-PRO 2 Powered Ambulance Cot along with the Power-LOAD Cot Fastener System!
This state-of-the-art equipment is designed to enhance both patient and provider safety. Its hydraulic system allows for automated raising and lowering, reducing physical strain on emergency responders. When paired with the Power-LOAD system, automated loading and unloading of the cot is seemingly effortless!

Cooperative education is an important piece to Career and Technical Education. CO-OP provides students the opportunity to take their experience in the classroom and apply it in the workforce. Parkway West CTC partners with many local employers to provide this opportunity. New for 2025, Parkway West CTC has created a new partnership with ACE Wire Spring & Form Co.
