Course Overview
The Automotive Technology program at Parkway West Career & Technology Center is a NATEF and ASE certified program that meets strict industry standards. The program provides students with hands-on experience using diagnostic equipment in a state-of-the-art auto shop, giving them the practical skills they need to succeed in the field.
As an AYES training facility, the Automotive Technology program also offers students the opportunity to gain work experience in local area dealerships during their senior year. This allows students to make important career connections and gain real-world experience in a professional setting. The program's NATEF and AYES certifications ensure that students receive the best training and preparation to complete their ASE certification, which is a valuable industry credential.
In addition to the Automotive Technology program, Parkway also offers Emissions and Safety Inspection classes, which can help students prepare for certification exams in those areas.
