Course Overview

The Veterinary Assistant Technology program provides students with hands-on training and knowledge of animal care and management techniques. By completing this program, students will be equipped with the necessary skills to work in veterinary clinics, animal shelters, research facilities, and other animal care settings.

The program covers various topics such as animal anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, animal behavior, and nutrition. Students will also learn how to communicate effectively with clients and assist with procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and surgical preparation.
